Dr. Giatras is a cum laude graduate of Boston College and received
his medical degree from New York Medical College. He completed an
Internal Medicine internship at the Rhode Island Hospital, Brown University, and his Neurology
residency at The Mount Sinai Medical Center in New York where he
also served as Chief Resident. Dr. Giatras completed a fellowship
in Clinical Neurophysiology at the State University of New York
at Stony Brook.
Dr. Giatras is a member of many professional organizations including
the American Medical Association, Medical Association of Georgia, Tift County Medical Society, Georgia
Neurological Society, American Academy of Neurology, American College
of Physicians, American Neurological Association, American Sleep
Disorders Association and the National Stroke Society along with others.
SGNA wants to work with your physician to manage your neurological
health as well as coordinate your total healthcare plan; therefore we prefer
for a physician to refer you to our practice. This procedure is
as simple as you calling your physician and requesting a referral
or discussing a referral with your physician during an appointment.
